This training course explores the history and power of collective action within the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the wider trade union movement. Participants will deepen their understanding of CSP’s journey as a trade union, key moments in trade union history, and major healthcare developments that have shaped today’s working conditions.

Through real-life examples of collective action in healthcare, the course will examine how change has been won in the past and what lessons can be applied to current and future challenges. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on the impact of solidarity, organisation, and activism in improving both patient care and the working lives of healthcare professionals.
